Summary

The complainant stated that the respondent had installed CCTV cameras directed towards the complainant's house and yard, that the cameras were equipped with LED lights causing disturbance, and that installation was done without consent. The Data Protection Office referred the matter to the Police for a site visit. The Police informed the office that the matter had already been settled and the complainant did not wish to proceed further. The enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act.
