The facts

The complainant alleged his neighbour's CCTV camera captured images in front of his house and invaded his privacy. A police site visit found the respondent's camera captured images only in front of the respondent's own premises towards his gate.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the closure provision of the Data Protection Act.
