Summary

The complainant alleged that the neighbour's CCTV camera was capturing images in front of his house and invading his privacy. The Data Protection Office sought Police assistance, and a site visit found that the respondent's camera was capturing images only in front of the respondent's premises towards the gate. The enquiry was closed to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the DPA.
