The facts

The complainant alleged that his neighbour installed two security cameras fixed on his two entry gates in bad faith and malicious spying. The police site visit established that the two side gates whose images the cameras captured are inside the respondent's premises, and that following a family dispute the complainant had been denied access to use them.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the Act's complaints procedure.
