The facts

The complainant alleged that his neighbour's yard cameras invaded his privacy, including viewing his place of worship. The police found that none of the CCTV cameras were operational and that, as installed, none captured images inside the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the Act's complaints procedure.
