The facts

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had installed CCTV cameras without permission, one facing directly at the complainant's kitchen and bedroom windows. After a Police site visit requested by the Data Protection Office, the two disputed cameras were repositioned to the complainant's satisfaction and no longer captured images of the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties.
