Summary

The complainant alleged that the respondent living next door had installed cameras facing the complainant's house, prayer house, the right side of the house, and the road, with the stated purpose of spying and collecting information. A police site visit found that the cameras did not capture any area outside the respondent's premises, with the respondent's sister (living abroad) having installed the camera facing upward to cover the corridor for tenant security. The enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
