The facts

The complainant alleged that his neighbour installed cameras facing his house, his prayer house and the road to spy on his family. The Police reported that the respondent's sister, living abroad, had installed the camera facing upward to cover the corridor between the two houses for the security of her ground-floor tenant, and that the cameras do not capture any area outside the respondent's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the enquiry provisions of the Data Protection Act 2017.
