Summary

The complainant alleged that the respondent neighbour had placed CCTV cameras around a common yard without notification, with cameras facing towards the complainant's house. The DPO directly contacted the respondent and conducted a site visit, finding one camera viewing a neighbouring first floor and another viewing the road. The respondent was asked to reposition the cameras and subsequently provided evidence that all cameras viewed only within the respondent's premises. The enquiry was closed after the complainant did not raise further issues.
