Summary

The complainant reported that a neighbour had installed CCTV cameras suspected of being directed towards the complainant's premises, with lights directed at windows causing nighttime disturbance, and suspected advanced features that would constitute a further intrusion into privacy. A Police site visit found that the two disputed cameras were capturing images only within the respondent's yard and that masking on the connected DVR prevented any capture of the complainant's house or premises. The enquiry was closed as no offence was disclosed.
