Summary

The complainant alleged that his neighbour had installed CCTV cameras causing him continuous harassment. The Data Protection Office referred the matter to the Police, who conducted a site visit and confirmed that no CCTV camera was installed in such a way as to capture images of passers-by or the public view. The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
