Summary

The complainant alleged that the neighbour had installed a camera facing into the complainant's garage and partly into a daughter's bedroom, monitoring movements in and out of the property, and described a context of threats and violence. A Police site visit found 8 cameras at the respondent's premises, all rotating within the respondent's premises, and a DVR review confirmed no cameras were disturbing the complainant's privacy. The enquiry was closed with a finding that no breach of the Data Protection Act had occurred.
