The facts

The complainant alleged illegal placement of CCTV cameras by his neighbour affecting his family's privacy. A site inspection found two dome cameras viewing the common road and a bullet camera potentially viewing the complainant's house, with no signage. The respondent immediately refocused and repositioned the cameras, placed sign boards, and follow-up visits confirmed all cameras viewed within his own premises only. The complainant declared himself satisfied.
