The facts

The complainant alleged his neighbour installed three CCTV cameras pointing towards his premises, capable of capturing images inside his house. Following a Police enquiry requested by the Data Protection Office, the respondent re-oriented all the CCTV cameras and no images were being captured inside the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner found the enquiry disclosed no offence under the DPA and closed it to the satisfaction of all parties.
