The facts

It was reported that the respondent had installed several CCTV cameras in the yard, allegedly violating the complainant's privacy. The Police site visit requested by the Data Protection Office found no footage could be viewed as there was no electricity in the house, and the respondent no longer resided there.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties.
