Summary

The complainant alleged that the respondent had installed several CCTV cameras in the yard in violation of his privacy. The Data Protection Office asked the Police to investigate and conduct a site visit; the Police reported that no footage could be viewed as the house had no electricity and the respondent no longer resided there. The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
