Summary

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had installed a rotating CCTV camera with motion detection and long-distance view capability pointed directly at the complainant's premises, capturing movements and activities of the complainant and visitors. A Police site visit found the camera was connected to a mobile phone rather than a DVR, was installed for security purposes, and no images were being captured inside the complainant's premises. The enquiry was closed as no offence was disclosed.
