The facts

The complainant alleged a neighbour installed a rotating camera on his roof about a foot away, focusing on her property and causing annoyance; an occurrence-book entry had been registered with the police. A police enquiry and site visit found there was no clear view of the complainant's residence.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the closure provision of the Data Protection Act.
