Summary

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had installed CCTV cameras with one positioned towards the complainant's house and personal space, causing fear of surveillance and harm to the complainant's family. Following a police site visit, the cameras had been re-oriented and were no longer capturing images facing towards the complainant. The respondent and spouse declined to provide written statements to police. The enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
