Summary

The complainant alleged that her neighbour had installed a 360-degree camera in her corridor facing the road, using it to record the complainant and family members in video and audio and posting the footage with insults on social media, as well as using the microphone to direct insults at the complainant's family. The Police conducted a site visit, viewed the footage, and found that the camera was facing within the respondent's premises and the road, and was not capturing images at the complainant's premises. The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the DPA 2017.
