The facts

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had installed a 360-degree camera with a microphone in her corridor, used it to record the complainant's family in video and audio, posted recordings with insults on social media, and listened in on kitchen conversations. The Police viewed the footage on a site visit and found the camera faced within the respondent's premises and the road, not capturing images at the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Data Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties.
