The facts

The complainant alleged his neighbour installed a camera facing the entrance of his premises, allowing his movements to be monitored. The Police inspected two cameras on site and found neither was capturing any images, inside the property or beyond its boundaries, enclosing their site visit report.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the enquiry provisions of the Data Protection Act 2017.
