The facts

The complainant alleged unauthorised viewing of personal images by his neighbour's CCTV cameras. The enquiry found that no images of the complainant or his premises were being recorded after the respondent was cautioned, two sign boards naming the operator and the security purpose were placed at the entrances, and the respondent consented to unannounced verification visits. The complainant declared himself satisfied.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner found no commission of any offence, the respondent having cooperated and shown a reasonable justification of protecting his premises against theft. Dated 18.02.13 per the document.
