The facts

The complainant alleged his neighbour had placed two cameras covering his entire yard, garage and his children's room, and used them to watch the household's movements, which he considered a danger to his family. A Police site visit with both parties present found the two cameras had been repositioned and were capturing images inside the respondent's own property, and the complainant stated he was satisfied with the enquiry.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the DPA.
