Summary

The complainant, who described himself as an elderly person, alleged that his neighbour's surveillance cameras might be capturing his private life. The Police conducted a site visit, viewed the cameras, and confirmed that the two cameras installed were simulated surveillance cameras (dummy cameras) incapable of capturing or recording any images. The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the DPA 2017.
