The facts

The complainant alleged a neighbour's CCTV camera was taking a full view of her plot and house, embarrassing her family, and that she had already complained twice to her local Police station. A Police site visit found the camera pointed towards the respondent's main gate and partly at the street, capturing no image of the complainant's residence; a copy of the footage was produced.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the Data Protection Act 2017.
