Summary

The complainant alleged that a neighbour's CCTV camera was taking a full view of the complainant's plot of land and house, causing embarrassment and discomfort to the complainant's family. Following a police site visit with accompanying footage, it was found that the camera was pointing towards the main gate and partly onto the street, and was not at any time capturing images of the complainant's residence. The enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
