Summary

The complainant alleged that the respondent's CCTV cameras were pointing towards his yard and infringing on his privacy, and that the respondent refused to remove them. The Data Protection Office referred the matter to the Police, who conducted a site visit and confirmed that the cameras were not capturing images inside the complainant's premises. The respondent provided a written statement with supporting evidence corroborating the Police findings. The enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act.
