The facts

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had installed a CCTV camera raising privacy concerns for the complainant and family members, who feared being recorded and watched. Following a Police site visit requested by the Data Protection Office, the respondent re-oriented her CCTV camera so it no longer projected towards the complainant's premises, and the complainant expressed satisfaction.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties.
