Summary

A complainant alleged his neighbour and brother directed CCTV cameras at his yard in violation of his privacy. The enquiry revealed no incriminating evidence, but the Commissioner directed the respondent to post a small, visible and legible sign notifying CCTV recording within two months - the first of what became the Office's standard CCTV signage directions.
