The facts

The complainant alleged his neighbour installed cameras without informing him, placed them on other owners' property without signage, and directed them at neighbouring properties. The Police site visit confirmed corrective measures had been taken and the cameras no longer captured images beyond the respondent's boundaries.

Orders and outcome

The Data Protection Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the enquiry provisions of the Data Protection Act 2017.
