The facts

The complainant alleged that a neighbour had fixed external CCTV cameras adjacent to a football pitch, one of which, in a disguised manner, faced his house and courtyard. A Police site visit found the camera installed on top of the village hall building across the road was not capturing images of the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the Data Protection Act 2017.
