Anonymised respondent
Enquiry closed under section 6 (resolved to the satisfaction of all parties). DPO, 17 December 2018.
The facts
A complaint alleged that students' private information was posted on the respondent institution's website. The office required corrective measures and required the respondent to register as a controller. After repeated reminders and missing forms, the registration was completed and processed in December 2018.
Orders and outcome
Corrective measures were implemented to the satisfaction of all parties and the enquiry was closed with no offence found proven, the Commissioner remarking that more diligence from the respondent would have shortened the enquiry.
