The facts

A parent alleged that a head mistress of a government primary school took pictures of minor children on a mobile phone, some of which appeared on the internet, that the then PTA president used the school website to insult parents, and that PTA members' signatures were misused. The current head master stated the school has no website and had never known the PTA president in question, and the office found no concrete evidence of an offence. The complainant was given 21 days to produce evidence and did not reply.

Orders and outcome

The enquiry was closed to the satisfaction of all parties with no offence found committed under the Data Protection Act.
