The facts
The complainant objected to the availability of personal information on the respondent's website. The office asked the respondent to identify the legal basis for displaying the information and to urgently remove the link concerned, since no excessive information should be provided to the intended user. The respondent provided the clarification and deactivated the link.
Orders and outcome
With the clarifications given and the link deactivated, no evidence suggested a breach of the Data Protection Act and the enquiry was closed.
