Summary

The complainant alleged that a brother living opposite had fixed a camera that was violating the complainant's privacy. A Police site visit found sixteen cameras at the respondent's premises, ten operational; two cameras were observed pointing at the main entrance on a common road, and the respondent was advised to readjust certain cameras and subsequently repositioned cameras 12 and 13, with dummy cameras removed. The enquiry was closed to the satisfaction of all parties under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
