The facts

The complainant alleged that his brother had placed three cameras at the house watching his comings and goings, including one facing his main door and covering the staircase used by his wife and child; the complaint was lodged in Mauritian Creole and is paraphrased here. The Police reported the brother had already re-oriented the cameras, which no longer capture images of the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome

The Commissioner closed the enquiry to the satisfaction of all parties under the Data Protection Act 2017.
