The facts

The complainant alleged that Aventus Technology Limited unlawfully processed his personal data without consent by repeatedly contacting him with calls and messages demanding that he communicate with unidentified individuals about unpaid loans he had no knowledge of or involvement in. The ODPC found his rights violated and that the respondent breached the purpose limitation principle.
