Following a control mission of 5 September 2019 at its premises, Senegal's CDP issued a formal notice (mise en demeure) against the telecoms operator SENTEL GSM (Free) for non-respect of the right to object and of the permitted time slot for direct-marketing SMS, CCTV signage non-compliant with the CDP's 2016 video-surveillance deliberation, unauthorised processing of workers' health data and the absence of a data-protection policy.
