The sanction committee of Senegal's CDP plenary session issued a formal notice (mise en demeure) against the telecoms operator Expresso Sénégal over non-compliant website terms and conditions, non-observance of direct-marketing rules and the absence of a clear retention period for job applicants' data. The notice was lifted after Expresso corrected the breaches within the deadline; the CDP maintained recommendations, including making the STOP function free and effective.
