The facts

The complainant, a salon owner, alleged that the tenant of a neighbouring restaurant had installed a CCTV camera facing the salon without permission, directed at its entrance and windows with visibility inside, causing discomfort to clients, many of them women and tourists. The Police found nine cameras at the respondent's premises including one motion-tracker camera capturing towards the salon; a second site visit found that camera was no longer capturing towards the complainant's premises.

Orders and outcome
