The complainant alleged that the respondent, who lived in the same yard, had installed cameras in multiple locations within the shared yard without consent, violating the complainant's and family's privacy. A police site visit identified one camera directed at the complainant's staircase, which the respondent voluntarily repositioned in the presence of police. The complainant subsequently informed police the matter was resolved and did not wish to pursue it further, and the enquiry was closed under section 6 of the Data Protection Act 2017.
