Anonymised respondent (a company) and anonymised respondent (an organisation)
The enquiry is thus closed. DPO, 20 June 2017.
The facts
The complainant sought to retrieve a copy of his contract from a company and his personal data, an attendance sheet and contract, from an organisation. The enquiry established that the company had submitted a training application form containing the complainant's name and ID to the organisation but had not sent any grant request form, and the organisation had received no application for a grant refund for him.
Orders and outcome
On those facts there was no evidence to suggest a breach of the Data Protection Act may have occurred and the enquiry was closed.
