The facts

The complainant alleged the respondent persistently sent him marketing messages about available deals on WhatsApp despite his numerous written requests to stop. The ODPC found the respondent did not comply with its obligations under the Act.

Orders and outcome

The respondent was found liable and an enforcement notice was issued against it. The complainant's prayer was the deletion of all his details from the respondent's contacts and database. Dated 15 July 2025.
