The facts

The complainant alleged the bank kept sending her messages that her Co-op till was dormant although she had never opened any payment till numbers with the bank and no till number is associated with her accounts. The respondent made no representations on her claim. The ODPC found the bank violated her right to be informed of the use to which her personal data was to be put.
