The complainant alleged Mulla Pride Limited, trading as KE Credit, sent him threatening messages even after he had settled his loan, and contacted his employer although the employer was not listed as a referee. The Office found his rights violated, noted the respondent is a repeat offender found liable for similar violations in several other complaints, and recorded that it obstructed the Data Commissioner by refusing entry for a scheduled site visit.
Orders and outcome
The respondent was found liable and an enforcement notice was issued against it. No compensation was ordered. Dated 19 April 2024.
