The facts
The complainant alleged he had been receiving phone calls and emails about a loan he never applied for, taken by an individual who had borrowed from Azura Credit Limited, trading as Truepesa. He asked the respondent to desist from involving him and his company in the borrower's affairs. The ODPC found the respondent violated his right to be informed and failed to fulfil its obligations under the Act.
Orders and outcome
The respondent was found liable and an enforcement notice was issued against it. Dated October 2024.
