The facts

The complainant complained against Safaricom in September 2023, with Guaranty Trust Bank (Kenya) Limited enjoined as an interested party after preliminary review. The dispute concerned his continued listing as an administrator of a paybill; the Office found he never made a deletion request to the interested party, which had the responsibility of removing him, and that the interested party took swift and timely remedial steps once made aware.

Orders and outcome

The Office found no violation of the complainant's rights, held he was not entitled to remedies, and dismissed the complaint. Dated 15 December 2023.
