The facts

The complainant alleged Grass International Limited flooded her phone with promotional direct-marketing messages despite her repeated warnings and objections. The parties attempted to settle through an alternative dispute resolution process, but never furnished the Office with any settlement agreement as the regulations require, so there was no proof of an amicable resolution.

Orders and outcome

The respondents were found liable and an enforcement notice was ordered to issue against the first respondent. Dated 20 August 2023.
